What does holding hands mean?

ok well I had my track meet today and well it was freezeing cold well me and a ton of kidz were in a group covered with blankets ((tring 2 stay warm)) well 1 of the guyz I was sitting next was just messin around at 1st and he kept grabbing my hand and kept cuddling with me!!! ok well after a while he and I were actully holding hands well were not dating or anything were not really friends so my qusetion is what does it mean??? does it mean he might like me?? or was it just a 1 time messin around thing??

p.s. he kept holding my hands and giving me hugs!!! he was doin stuff that only a boyfriend and girlfriend will do!!

Well, I would tell him that if he wants to hold your hand and give you hugs that he should ask you out properly on a date. If he likes you, he'll say yes, and if he doesn't, then he'll know that just because you are a girl that doesn't mean you're everybody's girl. It'll give him respect for you and you'll find out without having to be embarassed.

ummm... it's really 50 50. he could just be being friendly, I have lots of friends that cuddle and hug me and hold my hand and they are guys but it doesn't mean anything other then that we are good friends. and then my boyfriend did it to me and then we started going out. you should call him or something and see where it goes, what do you have to lose?

I have loadsa guy friends that I hold hands with, it can mean anything, the best thing to do would be just to ask him, just say something like, 'why were you holding my hand the other day?' or something?

oki so I have loads of guy friends who also constantly hug me and hold my hand, it mite just be him gving you signs of affection or maybe he was just acting friendly, I mean you say it was cold and he may of just gotten caught up in the moment or summin, but I think you shud get to know him a little more, don't mention anything to him because he mite make him a bit uncomfortable just chat and be friendly with him and see where things go
