ipod touch 2g can't install application on it

Here is the thing I have a ipod touch 2g and I know there is a way to get aim on there for free going through the intunes application thing but when I do try to register my ipod and I do the password it keeps saying its wrong.

if your trying 2 make an itunes account you have 2 put da number of your credit card on there or buy an itunes card go to itunes store on the side click redeem and put the code there then you can get da app...idkk if dats what your asking bout biut hope it helps !
