Prayer? I mean if that is your belief then that is fine, but at an extreme time like this? Prayer will help her friend immediately, how?
Anyway, I am very sorry. Call her as much as you can-though not too much because then she will feel smothered- and let her know how much you care for her, and love her. Let her know that if you could, you would be in England right now!
After that, I would try talking to her about normal things for a while. Nothing depressing, just normal teen stuff(if you are a teen.) Ask her about school, any boys she has crushes on, plans for the weekend etc. Tell her about your day, but don't talk too much about yourself.
Call your other friend that also lives in England and ask her how she is doing on a daily basis. Talk about why you think she attempted suicide, etc. Ask this friend to ask the other girls mother if she is getting therapy.
Just keep chatting with her like normal after that. She will be fine! Just make sure she knows that you love her!
look honestly if you dont believe in god its hard to pray, im one who doesnt believe in god though I dont judge anyone for what they believe in. sweety I hate to say this I have no idea what you are going to do. if you have money maybe get yourself a plain ticket and get yourself to her and try and help her through this I dont know if talkin to her on the phone is going to do a lot as you guys are pretty far away from each other. hunny I really dont know. I hope everything turns out fine
