okay, so I just joined our school's swim team and they prefer that you're clean shaven all over. well, I got the legs and bikini area down, under arms and whatnot, but I have to shave my arms now, and I tried it the other night, and my hair grew back way too fast.

This is my first time shaving my arms, and I don't have a lot of hair on them, but it grew back too fast. I don't want to have to shave all the time cause I have a feeling I'll be getting little red bumps...

would waxing my arms work? or what about Veet? I'm not sure about Nair either. anyone have any ideas? I just want to be able to go a few days or more without shaving. I hate the feeling of my arms being prickly and yucky.

Help please!

and don't suggest tweezing, like one of my swim mates suggested. *rolls eyes* she's nuts!

Do not do veet whatever you do. I tried it and it just burns your skin. You aren't suppose to shave your arms anyways because the more you shave, the more faster, and darker the hair comes back. BUT if you do insist on it, I would suggest have you waxed? If not then try that. But other then that go for laser surgery, because thats all the answers I can give.

waxing is great for your arms ! actually a lot of people get there arms waxed. veet is also another method that works well. veet also has a line for sensitive skin. if you decided to get your arms waxed I recommend that you go to an experienced estchian who know s what she is doing so this away the pain will be minimal

well sweetie thats just how fast your hair grows nothin you can do about it, waxing can make it longer to grow back but for the treatment to take its maximum length of time it takes about 7 waxing treatments for it to have its full effect of keeping the hair from growing back before 6weeks. I shave my arms and legs everyday becuase thats just how fast my hair grows ..even though its only slightly prickly I prefer it to be completly smooth! Hope I helped chick, good luck with your swimming

actually, love, yes it will. it does grow back thicker depending on how many times you have shaved the area.

try waxing, but I'm letting you know NOW, it's going to hurt.
