Theories on what came first..chicken or egg?

the title says it all lol!

wow this type of question makes my brain hurt! lol! I would say the chicken I dont really have an explanation tho!

Finding the evolutionary origin of proteins and DNA is tricky as each requires the other for its own synthesis-which came first? That's where Cech and Altman come in. They studied RNA (ribose nucleic acid), a close chemical relative of DNA:
When proteins are made from the information in DNA, a working RNA copy of the gene is made for use by ribosomes, the protein factories of the cell. Therefore RNA, like DNA, stores genetic information, and, like proteins, it also performs chemical reactions.
Bringing RNA into the picture solves the chicken and egg problem. RNA can be both chicken and egg.

Egg. Evolution is when there's a small mutation in the genes.
So the first chicken was a mutant of whatever came first and the mutation had to occur when the egg was conceived. And the egg had to be layed before it could hatch.
Therefore, the egg came first.

As for the question, I wouldn't waste my time thinking about which came first.

the chicken! how would the egg appear if the chicken wasnt there to give birth to it!!! and rem that god created animals first not single celled organisms in a shell(that is the yoke)

It was laid by the female of a species. During its development it developed one or more evolutionary traits that started its distinctiveness as being a little different from the creature that laid it.

Those traits aided in its survival and growth and were therefor passed on to future generations.

Future generations kept evolving with additional survival traits until eventually the complete chicken had evolved.

But it still had to come from an egg, so the egg came first!
