OK, so I like this guy...

I’m 17, and I’m a freshman in college. There is an 18 year old guy named Owen that I like. He’s a freshman and a music major, like me. What are some ways that I can get his attention, and try to like me? We are in like 3 of the same classes, and we do talk sometimes… and chat a little on facebook. But how do I show him I like him without coming across too … forward??? PLEASE HELP!

Most of the time being forward is the best way… guys just have problems taking the hint in general! Guys love being asked out instead of having to be traditional and asking girls out. They get a kick out of it and feel pretty flattered. How about just saying ‘Hey we should hang out a bit more sometime’, and following it up the next few days by asking if he wants to have lunch with you or to practice/study something in your course that needs work?
