Why am i putting on weight and how to stop it?

Im slightly over weight and I know it, although over the past few months I have lost A LOT of weight. Im starting to put it on again and my doctor says its stress related but I think its something else and NO its not a change in diet- I eat better than...

most people. but If anyone can suggest anything Im all ears, also if you have any tips on how to lose it again that would be handy- I need to be slimmer for my hockey training.

heeey elmad,

its kinda hard to really know or tell what could be the reason, go here and look to see if maybe one of these are the reasons why you have gained weight..

hopefully this will help...right now I am on a diet, so I can give you pretty basic advice...

*exercise daily...
*dont EAT FASTFOOD
*DONT EAT LATE!! ( no later then 6 pm )
* substitute a meal for something lite...ie: for dinner eat a salad or fruit..(I have been doing that, its been workin pretty good...
*drink plenty of water
*dont drink soda or drinks high in calories...
* stay away from junk food

IF you do all of this you will loose weight very quickly, I have before..Im doing it again because I slowly gained it back from going back into my odl habits... The best thing to do is exercise...go out running or walking each day... thats the most important thing... and its good to keep track of your calories! each day) if you take out 500 calories per a day (3,500 a week) you can lose a pound...sooo if you normally eat 2000 calories, eat only 1500..plus exercise to burn extra fat, then you can lose 2 pounds a week =)

You need to change when you eat. Never exercise on an empty stomach and don't eat carbs after you work out. Increase low fat protein intake. Soy protein for maintaining weight and weigh protein for bulking up.

Eat 6 small meals a day and remember the tips above and you'll see a change.

If you are really stressed honey you're probably retaining water. Try diuretic if you don't like taking pills then eat natural diuretics like cucumbers, broccoli, asparagus, brussel sprouts (bleh lol ) stuff like that. But remember to push the bad toxins out you need to drink lots more water. A fitness trainer I spose with told me that you should take your body weight times .66 and that should tell you how many oz. of water to drink a day. He also told me the best time to lose weight is in the morning before breakfast, and replace meals with whey protine happy Hope this helped...try to relax a little more sweetie you will be just fine.

ok eat a small snack before eating otherwise while you're working out your body will go into starvation mode and produce more fat cells ...Found that out on Saturday just thought I'd share happy
