Odd question but...

This might be a bit of an odd question, but I'm curious lol. Why do people hump things like their pillow, a blanket or their hand or some other thing? I mean it's no big deal... I'm just curious to know why some people do it. Does it give pleasure or...

ususally it happens when kids are just starting to get to know what there genitals are for
and its a way of masterbating
especially when they dont know how to use there hands or other objects
so they experiment with everyday things they have in there room like a pillow, toy, ect
