McCain my previous postings say it all.

And by the way, Senator Obama's tax plan is to not raise taxes on those making $250,000 or less. Senator Biden today in a speech put the figure at $150,000 and Governor Richardson in another unrelated speech for Obama placed the figure at $120,000. Innocent gaffs? I don't know. I do know Senator Obama voted for a bill to raise taxes on those making $41,600 or more. I also know is that taxes may not be raised on income, but the tax to support all the programs he wants to start MUST come from somewhere. All the while reducing the deficit? I'm not an economist, but I do know in managing my personal budget, if I am spending more than I make, I have to go into debt and without earning more money I can't lower my deficit, buy a new car and eat out every night. And raising taxes only on the top 5% incomes is not going to do the trick. You will see higher taxes from Senator Obama, may not come on your income, but you will pay more taxes to the government to fund his spending plans. Just one of many reasons.

Obama. He has an attitude that is positive and forward looking. Hopeful.

McCain seems to represent 4 more years of Bush. No matter how many times he says he is not Bush, he also has proclaimed that he is in lockstep with Bush on 90% of his votes in congress.

On another factor (a determining factor for me), McCain is anti-choice (except in the case of rape or incest) and Palin is against even those. Palin also seems to have very weak executive ability (http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/)
Regardless of my views, or anyone else's, since you are of voting age I encourage you to vote this Tuesday.
Good Luck!!

A few reasons to vote McCain:

John McCain doesn't believe we should raise taxes on anybody during a recession. Obama does and that will prolong our economic woes.

John McCain has been endorsed by the NRA. Barack Obama once supported a complete ban on the manufacture and ownership of handguns in America.

John McCain co-sponsored a bill to fix Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac back in 2005. Had it passed, we wouldn't have had a bailout crisis. Obama took in the 2nd largest amount of money from Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac. In other words, McCain tried to fix the problem while Obama was in the back pocket of the shady operators who cost the American people over 700 billion dollars.

Barney Frank has promised a 25% cut in defense spending if Barack Obama gets into office. John McCain would not support that policy.

Both Barack Obama and John McCain publicly pledged to take public financing for their campaigns. McCain kept his word. Obama lied. If he will lie to the American people about that, what else is he lying about?

Barack Obama has received hundreds of millions of dollars in earmarks, including a million dollar earmark for his wife's hospital. John McCain has never taken an earmark.

John McCain's health care plan will make health care more affordable, cover more people, and will keep the market in control. Barack Obama's plan for socialized medicine will put government bureaucrats in charge, will lead to long wait times for operations and lead to a poorer quality of health care. If you think health care is expensive now, wait until you see how much it costs under Barack Obama when it's free.

Barack Obama says he doesn't want his daughters punished with a baby and that abortion is above my pay grade. Do you think a baby is punishment? Do you think abortion is above Sarah Palin's pay grade?

Sarah Palin is a conservative reformer who has taken on oil companies and her own party as a mayor and a governor. Joe Biden is a career Washington insider with no executive experience who's most famous for gaffes, making things up, and being on the wrong side of almost every foreign policy issue from Vietnam to the surge.

Barack Obama spent twenty years going to an anti-white, anti-American church run by Jeremiah Wright. He didn't go to that church for so long because he disagreed with the message.

John McCain once fought for our country in Vietnam. Barack Obama has never fought for anything but his own career.

John McCain has literally had to decide whether to go home from a POW camp or stay and be tortured. He made the right decision. Barack Obama's first tough decision will be made in the White House - when Russia recently invaded Georgia, Obama responded: Both side need to show restraint.

John McCain pals around with Joe Lieberman, Lindsey Graham, Sarah Palin, and Phil Gramm. Barack Obama has pal'd around with Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Michael Pfleger, Frank Davis, and Tony Rezko. What does that say about each man's character? - Obama's friends have one thing in common: a Dim view of America and He has something in common with Osama: they both have friends who bombed the Pentagon.

John McCain always holds his hand over his heart for the national anthem and has never refused to wear a flag pin after calling it a substitute for, I think, true patriotism. Do we really want to have the first President in our history who doesn't demonstrate for all to see love of his country?

For good or ill, John McCain is a moderate, but Barack Obama was the most liberal senator in America in 2007. Do you trust someone that liberal to run the country?

When there's an international crisis at 3 A.M. And the phone rings, you can't vote present. - that call comes in to the White House, not the Naval Observatory where the VP - experience resides.

This is what Barack Obama thinks of Americans who live in small towns,
And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

How can someone, who thinks so little of people who don't live in big cities, truly represent all Americans in the White House?

Do you really want to spend the next four years listening to Barack Obama's supporters cry racism every time somebody criticizes or disagrees with him?

The mainstream media has been more biased than at any time in our lifetimes for Obama and they've launched an absolutely unprecedented smear campaign against Sarah Palin -- and worse yet, Sarah Palin's family. Do you want to reward and encourage more of that kind of behavior in the future by putting Barack Obama in the White House?

Barack Obama is a socialist who wants to spread the wealth around. John McCain wants to spread the opportunity around instead of making people dependent on government.

John McCain has promised no more bailouts. Barack Obama has not.

John McCain favors judges who will stick to the Constitution. Barack Obama says he wants judges with empathy. Would you want an umpire of a baseball game who sticks to the rules or one who has empathy?

McCain has promised to balance the budget in four years and whether he makes it or not, he will undoubtedly cut spending. Obama will run trillion dollar deficits. You do the math.

We have the 2nd highest corporate tax rate in the world and it is driving our companies overseas. John McCain wants to cut the tax to keep businesses in the U.S. and create jobs. Barack Obama does not.

Barack Obama will sign the Union Card Check Bill that will end the right to secret ballots for union members, thereby crippling more American industries via unionization. The unions are destroying the Big 3 automakers and the airline industry -- and under Obama, they'll be a further drag on the American economy. Furthermore, since when do we give up the right to have a secret ballot in America? John McCain opposes the Union Card Check Bill.

Barack Obama will sign the Fairness Doctrine into law, which is solely designed to drive conservative radio hosts off the air. When did we start trying to win political contests in this country by preventing our political opponents from being heard? John McCain opposes the Fairness Doctrine - Tass created.

Barack Obama wants to force gay marriage on the whole country via the court system, which is why he favors overturning the Defense of Marriage Act. John McCain thinks marriage should be between a man and a woman, which is why he supports leaving DOMA in place.

John McCain favored the surge. Barack Obama did not. So, if Barack Obama had been President over the last four years, we would have already lost the war in Iraq - 'win' the war, appears nowhere in Obama's vocabulary.

Barack Obama wants to leave Iraq in 16 months, whether we win or not. John McCain doesn't want to risk seeing the victory our troops have bled and died for thrown away for politics' sake.

John McCain would never consider for a moment voting for a bill that would deny medical treatment to a fully born baby just because it was 'preassigned abort'.

More reasons to vote McCain:

* You cannot help the poor, by destroying the rich.
* You cannot strengthen the weak, by weakening the strong.
* You cannot bring about prosperity, by discouraging thrift.
* You cannot lift the wage earner up, by pulling the wage payer down.
* You cannot further the brotherhood of man, by inciting class hatred.
* You cannot build character and courage, by taking away men's initiative and independence.
* You cannot help men permanently, by doing for them what they could and should, do for themselves.

This REALLY sealed my McCain vote:

Researched Fact: On March 13, 2003, Illinois state legislator Barack Obama voted against the Illinois Born Alive Act which provides that infants who survive an abortion and are born alive should receive necessary medical care and treatment. Barack Obama voted to let babies die who were born alive! Barack Obama took a more extreme pro-abortion stand than even pro-abortion champions NARAL, who stayed neutral on the counterpart federal legislation which barred abortions on babies born alive - maybe he has the character you admire, I don't !

AMBLESSED, DO YOU NEVER TIRE OF LYING?
YOU ARE A LIAR BY OMISSION
You KNOW (it has been addressed on previous questions) that Obama opposed that bill because it alllowed the doctors and hospitals no coverage. You NEVER add the fact that once the clause about the doctors and hospitals was removed, Obama voted FOR the bill.

alexboo,

If you have a concern over raising taxes, you need to examine Senator Obama's proposal. He is proposing a 1 Trillion dollar additional spending proposal. Please understand that it takes 100 million dollars to make a 1 billion dollars. It takes 100 Billion dollars to make a Trillion dollars. That is a tremendous amount of money that he has no way of raising unless he raises everyone's taxes. There is no way this can be obtained from the 5% of the top weathiest people. These are small businesses who hire and emplyoee most of our work force. He will raise taxes on all Americans to achieve this or not implement his programs.

His tax plan and his health bill are smoke and mirrors. His tax plan if implemented as he proposes is a Socialist government which gives no reason for the small business owner to come up with an innovative idea, market it and make a profit. His spead the wealth idea is as Socialistic as can be. I'm sorry, this man is not the person for President at this time, and is probably not an accep[table candidate for the job EVER.

Oh Niocil,

You are so misled,
\
*** I find it hypocritical that Christians are Republicans. It contradicts what's in the Bible. You know, it says there's more of a chance to get into Heaven if you're poor. But tax raises wont do that to the people getting them from Obama, they'll still be rich.***

Hypocritical that christionas are republicans???

Most Repbulicans or conservatives, believe in God and so many Democrats or liberals don't. That is such an outlandish statement. In either way, welcome to the world.
