I'm old enough and if you want the country protected, not rely on appeasement, dislike record-breaking taxes, care about human life at all stages, and much more too numerous to list here, vote for the one who was beaten and scarred for our country, has integrity, and has Demonstrated Leadership, many years of experience in Congress, not just 143 days (you can't go in the service and even be a sergeant in that time), McCain is clearly best for America !

If I could vote I would vote for McCain just because Obama says he has spent 12 years in senate and he says he is about change, if he was fighting so hard this whole time why are we just hearing about him.Plus McCain is war vet, and purple heart acheiver. You should look up how he got his purple heart its really amazing what he did.

yes pmg, it truely is amazing. He showed bravery in the face of his captures, and so much more.
McCain is the man for the job. Obama is lacking in knowledge and experience. He has fought for this country and he always will stick by us.
I am not too sure about Obama. He seems very shady to me.

Obama...with McCain, the country will go more down the drain than it already has been. Plus, he doesn't care about change...he only started saying that because Obama is. Who cares if he got a purple heart or whatever, I mean thanks for serving our country and all, but he won't do much else for it but help hurt it. He'll forget what day of the week it is and fall asleep in mid sentence and be totally redundant in all he says. He wouldn't do what he said he'd do. Clearly, I believe Obama is the man for the job and he'll bring the much needed change that this country needs.
I'm old enough to vote finally. This will be the first time I'm voting. Everyone around here wants Obama. They want change and this country needs change. Obama will help us get it. McCain, no matter how much a "hero" he was, won't.
But...if anyone can vote, esp. the younger people like me, get out and vote!! OBAMA '08!

"I'm old enough"

This is the only thing you said that was true

"and if you want the country protected,"

This is a lie. McCain wants to keep our troops bogged down in Iraq (to appease oil companies), and not truly go after the people who attacked us. Even Palin agreed with Obama that we should go aftet bin Laden in pakistan if we know where he is.

"not rely on appeasement,"

This is a lie. The right wing would have you believe that engaging in diplomacy is the equivalent of appeasement. Bush and McCain's version of diplomacy is "do as we say, or we will never talk to you, na na nana na..."

"dislike record-breaking taxes,"

This is also a lie. 95% of American will see a tax cut under obama's plan. What good are tax breaks when McBush's fiscal policies cause the price of everything to skyrocket.

"care about human life at all stages,"

Another lie. McBush believes that ony unborn life should be protected. But once you are born, you are fair game for rampant gun violence, the death penalty, inadequate or no health care, and unnecessary wars. If McBush really cared about curbing abortion, they would be willing to do somthing other than to tell kids "just say no".

"and much more too numerous to list here,"

Oh, please list them. I would love to see them.

"vote for the one who was beaten and scarred for our country,"

Being a war hero has not helped his judgement, particulary in matters of war and foriegn policy.

"has integrity,"

Define integrity? Is flip flopping on every "maverick" stance you ever took integrity?

"and has Demonstrated Leadership,"

Yes, he showed great leadership last week when he had to run back to DC to make sure those house republicans were on board for the Bailout Bil. Ooops. That didn't turn out so well did it?

"many years of experience in Congress,"

Too many years probably. All that experience has not given him one shred of good judgement.

"not just 143 days (you can't go in the service and even be a sergeant in that time),"

And another lie that amblessed loves to throw around. I think by the time he is sworn in, he will have a lot more than that. It is irrelevant. He is a brilliant man who is much more qualified to lead this country than McBush.

"McCain is clearly best for America !"

That is true only if you think that more of Bush fiscal, domestic, and foriegn policies are best for America. Otherwise Obama should be your choice.
