Who do you want to become president?
In my opinion, McCain will do the same thing that Bush had done, which is nothing. We need a leader that will actually do something. We need someone who not only help people in other countries, but also people in this country.

true, kerry probably wouldnt have gone to war with iraq, put the US into a trillion dollar debt and a recession, leaving thousands of people homeless and hungry, I think inaction probably might have been best...

Obama, definitely.
I am a supporter of reproductive rights and family planning and McCain is almost 100% against all of those rights and even information concerning family planning.
Even something like availability of birth control and morning after pills.

Unfortunately we don't have a real Leader in the race - Obama would definitely not be good for America however.

I am voting mccain- the argument that he will be 4 more years of bush is pointless.he is totally different- except he is still a republican.
I happen to think bush was a great president- freedom is never free.
mccain has my vote.

HEY SPLASTER I DONT THINK HIS NAME HAS JACK SQUAT TO DO WITH THE OTHER DUDE THAT BLEW STUFF UP
AND IM NOT OLD ENOUGH TO VOTE BUT ALL I WANT IS A PRESIDENT THAT IS GREAT AND THAT IS 100% FOR LOWERING GAS PRICES
OH YEA AND I AM KINDA AFFENDED THAT SOME OF YOU SAID THAT A BLACK MAN WOULDNT BE GOOD TO RUN THIS COUNTRY..THAT JUST DOESNT MAKE SENSE...SO IM TAKING IT AS your SAYIN AS LONG AS SOMEONE ISNT BLACK THEN THEY WOULD AUTOMATICALLY BE A BETTER CANIDATE TO BE PRESIDENT THAN IF THEY WERE BLACK...THATS SOME BULL ISH RIGHT THERE
AND IM NOT TRIPPIN because THATS your OPINION AND your OPINION REALLY DOESNT EVEN MATTER what SO EVER UNLESS your OLD ENOUGH TO VOTE BUT STILLEVEN SO your ONE VOTE DOESNT MAKE THAT MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE

I bet you though Bush was a real leader though?

Obama has already shown much more ability to lead than Bush or McCain ever have. He certainly has shown better judgement.

Obama wants our kids to learn Spanish. Fine and dandy. Let's teach them some other languages first: English, terrorism, Capitalism, and Marxist Socialism for starters !

Yes, by ALL means let's teach our children hatred...
Because a good American is a fearful, judgmental, hateful American...

Huh? terrorism, capitalism and marxist socialism are languages now? If you are trying to say that kids are not being taught about them, you are wrong. My high school son knows all about economic & governmental systems (more than I do), so they are being taught these things, regardless of what amblessed thinks.

And what exactly is wrong with WANTING (not 'forcing' rickd) our kids to be able to speak the second most common language in north america? Please explain to me how learning any second language is ever a bad thing?

Excuse me, but it was mandatory to learn a foreign language when I was in high school. Every bit your child learns is a plus in preparing her for her future.

I took spanish in high school and college and then switched to latin. I am glad I have a foundation in both.

Obama or McCain... honestly I don't trust either one of them as far as I can throw them. I'll go for Obama since I have a gut feeling he is less of a complete liar out to screw everday people in order to finance their own personal agenda (but not my much).

As far as a second language, I am all for as much worldly education as possible: the more education, the better.

well it's kinda early to decide then This early, I really can't tell which I would side with, but I am leaning towards obama. Furthermore, the GOP base is not even warming up to mccain (of course, I could be wrong) and even though it's still early in the game, this just proves to show how we see our candidates to-date. I know I will get burned for this, but I think mccain is a warmonger. I get the impression that he doesn't care to what happens to our troops in the middle east and the other parts of the world. Can’t we just all get along? I think it is time for a purification; I think it is time for a change; I think it is time for obama time. Now that the candidates are set for the US Presidential Election, Barack Obama and John McCain are beginning to set the tone for their campaign.Nothing will bring down prices today except a tipping point in perception. Getting off and doing something to housing market crisis. And now our U.S presidential candidates Obama and McCain are talking about it, the issues surrounding recent discussions on the housing market crisis has significant impact for all Americans. http://pollclash.com/
