It is true that she can continue to run since the superdelegates can change their mind at any time and neither candidate can win without the Superdeligates.
At some point she has to ask herself what is best for our nation.
The longer she clings to her slim hope of being president of the US the more likely it is that the Democratic party will loose in 2008 and the nation will have to suffer under 4 more years of Republican rule. The longer she stays in the less credibility she will have with mainstream Democrats.
If Ms. Clinton is a Democrat she should back the Democratic presidental candidate which is Mr. Obama.
amber - as a woman, I hate to hear another woman saying that our hormones would prevent us from functioning in a position of power. Men have used that argument against us for years.
There are MANY reasons that I want Obama.
There are also MANY reasons why I don't want Clinton, gender is not one of them.
Obama's opinions on many things, including his progressive stand on marijuana
are refreshing.
“I think we need to rethink and decriminalize our marijuana laws,” Mr. Obama told an audience during a debate at Northwestern University in 2004.
With Hillary being a 60 year old woman I'm sure she doesn't have periods anymore, menapause probably took place at least 10-20 years ago for her, so her hormones will have nothing to do with it.
And Obama doesn't want to legalize marijuana he want's to have medical marijuana. That doesn't help people who can't get the perscription to use it.
I think there is very little chance of him picking her as VP. I heard Ed Rendell (a big Clinton supporter) say that a nominee does not want to pick VP that can overshadow him (or her). I think the combination of Bill and Hillary would be too much of a distraction to the campaign and the message. Picking her would completely undercut his message of change.
