What happens if Obama's assasinated? Like, who would Biden's vice president or whatever be?

If Obama died and Biden assumed the presidency I believe it would be up to him to appoint a new vice president.

When Nixon's VP Spiro Agnew resigned Nixon chose Gerald Ford as his replacement. In turn when Nixon resigned Gerald Ford assumed the presidency and chose Nelson Rockefeller as his VP.

As far as I know Gerald Ford is the only president of the US who wasn't elected as president or VP.

if obama was killed before election john mccain would win as a runner up but if he didnt die intill after the election who ever he picked to be vice will become president
