what age do girls generally start seeing an ob-gyn? I have never seen one ans I dont plan on it very soon.

When they become sexually active or age 18. whichever comes first.

My first visit, I think I was around 17 or 18, or like the post above me said, you're sexually active or for health reasons.

Well let me put it this way. This may be be the best advice. When I first became sexually active with a long term partner I went once in the past 3.5 years. Mainly because I hate going to the doctor, cancer does not run in my family, and I have had sex with the same person and only that person for the past 3.5 years and I'm not afraid of catching anything. However if I were a person to have multiple partners, or was afraid that my partner had multiple partners I would be going on a yearly basis. But yes most doctors suggest 18 or when you are sexually active...whichever is first.
