Why is she sad when she broke up with me

so I broke up with my girlfriend or better she broke up with me and she was pretty upset not sure why though she broke up with me herself saying she felt "pressured" to come and meet me everytime (note: I always tell her to do whatever she feels like) now thing is I laughed like a jackass when she told me that...its probably the lamest thing I've ever heard but anyway why the heck is she sad about it even though she wanted to break up and not work around the problems? any female advice would be a help.

Tell her you want to work it out, and be friends for now and if she wants to go back out with you, you'll be there. Just talk to her about it. Don't laugh at her because she feels a certain way. Be a little more sensitive.

yeah I should have been a bit more sensitive but it was kinda getting on my nerves and I didnt want to tell her EXACTLY how I felt about her words... as for shrop123's girlfriend : shes a bit too shy or something like that (she avoids those kinda things)

I've seen girls do this in an attempt to get the guy to run after her. Can't say she's certainly doing this, but if she is, I'd walk in the other direction- fast! Girls like this are a pain.
