Gee... that's like asking what's the best tasting food? Nursing jobs are plentiful all over the country. Decide where you want to live, and you will surely find hospitals that are hiring nurses nearby. Don't think that your first choice has to be your ONLY choice, either. I switched nursing jobs 3 or 4 times before I finally found the hospital that was right for me, and that treated me well. Not all hospitals treat nurses well, by the way. Some hospitals are downright abusive of nurses. If you find one like that, go someplace else until you find the hospital that you like and that treats you with respect.
Nurses are needed just about every where in the Kansas City area. The metro has 112 nurses who trravel to patients homes for follow up care. Daved is correct -- make sure you go where they treat you well. You do not have to settle for second best and good hospitals will pay a premium and provide excellent benefits for good nurses.
