Notifications on watch list questions?

I saw the watch list answer by thedude: It's to keep track of answers questions you didn't participate in, eg, email updates, you can see on the list what questions were answered recently, etc.

The question: When you don't participate in the...

question but add it to your watch list, do you get an email notification when new answers are added to the question or do you have to keep clicking on the question in your watch list to see if there are any new answers?

Hm...good question, to be honest, I don't know, b/c I turned off all email notices in my profile a long time ago.

I'll try to test it out in a bit see if it works to give email updates, if not, I'll file a task to do so.
