How do I stop this rumor about me at school?

Heres the thing, im in 8th grade, and someone started a rumor that im pregnant, and im not, and everyone keeps asking me if I am and I say no, so got any ideas on what I should do to stop this rumor!

You're doing the right thing and you can't go around screaming "I'M NOT PREGNANT!" if you know who started the rumor just talk to them calmly and ask them why they started it. they probably won't be as calm as you, but ya never know..

it will blow over.

This mighrt be a little drastic and crazy but some way try to get to the school intercom and say "This is (your name here), there is a rumor around school that I am pregnant, I just want to say that those rumors are false. Have a nice day." I hope my advice helps!

Haha at the one above me.. keep doing what you're doing, and soon, in 4 months,
(or whenever you get a baby bump), they'll see you're not, and they'll probably get mad at the person who told them. So revenge without even doing anything!

Just like the other people have said...You have to go ignore everybody. If someone asks you if your pregnant, you don't have to answer them. It's not their business! Even if you are the whole school doesn't need to know. You can tell them that your not, but some people won't believe you no matter what you say. (This is why I like being home-schooled)

Eventually the rumor will die out because their will be some new source of 'news', and you won't be in the in the gossip limelight anymore. Remember, if you were pregnant you'd be getting bigger. If your not pregnant people will know as the weeks go by.

its all about how you react to the rumor...
if you respond everytime someoen asks with, "OMG Wahhh! stop asking me, why are people so mean? who started this?!?!?" and any sort of dramatic outburst, then you are giving them a show and more to talk about
if you calmly say, no. then they will be bored and move onto to something more interesting.

You need to convince people that the rumor is not true.

Ignore the people that are spreading the rumor.
Convince them that your not pregnant. If you feel comfortable telling the person that started the rumor, you can convince that person that this rumor is false.
In time, everyone will move on to something else. You never know, it could be another rumor of someone else. My, gossip does get around. That just shows that those people are immature. I give you credit your not broadcasting the false rumor to the whole school yourself. But, the person that started the rumor seems to enjoy spreading the rumor around for the whole school to know.
This doesn't sound right.
