the birds of a feather flock together! it depends on the type of person you are! all of my freinds are well to do! i am a broke-ass but all of my freinds must have me around! so they just pay for my drinks and food and thats o.k. with them! it all depends on who your freinds are, their respective tax brackets and also your relationship with them as it transcends to how they view you! if you don't have the type of relationship with your rich freinds as i do mine then you probably better stick with a lower tax bracket!
i'm not sur eif you mean fitting in CLOTHES-WISE or what but if it is about clothes and appearance then i can tell you what i do for me kids...most of the time we have the $ to go to the regular store but sometimes i do still go to thrift stores, sometimes picking up a brand name shirt or whatever for under $1. no one else has to know where you got your stuff from. i have noticed one thing thoguh. when i was younger i got teased and i thought it was because of the way i dressed, normal but still not good enough, so i dress my daughter in real nice stuff and i was devastated to find out that SHE gets teased too sometimes anyway! just be yourself. don't ever lose yourself. those high school girls are not worth it. when you're finally finished with school, you won't know them anymore anyway.
Use it to your advantage. If you buy something let it identify you and let it make you stand out. For example, I dry my clothes outside, eat healthy food, buy cheap basic clothes, and accesorize with objects I find at garage sales and ebay that really represent what I like. People like me because I'm me, but these things reflect who I am and people like that too. Your style really influences how people see you. How you use what you re-use or buy can really represent who you are and attract people with like styles and personalities. Really what you want to do is be a mirror to yourself and people who you truly like. If you are at a healthy weight, take care of yourself, and act as happy and confident as you can feel, people who are the same are definately more attracted to you as a friend and the oppisite sex alike.
