Not feeling cared about

Asked by fau 2 months ago, 3 answers.

My boyfriend says were drifting apart. We jsut got in a fight. Im always trying to comfort him and ask how hes doing and when hes mad at me or even if im mad at him its always me trying to make things right, he never does, and he neevr trys to cheer me up when im sad. I feel like im not cared about. I really love him and im not going to break up with him, I just want to feel cared about or made happy even if its just the smallest thing. I know it would make me feel a whole lot better. I've tried talking to him about it, be he just said right now I dont care, and that hes going and that I should go do something too and it doesnt matter to him... So really I just wanted to feel cared about but I dont know how to make him care because I cant exactly chaneg him... just any advie on this? thanks...

Well thats the thing, you can't force someone to care about you. And you shouldn't have to force someone to care about you either. You deserve better than that. If you told him how you feel and he continually just blows you off, you might want to reconsider your relationship with him. He just might be too immature to deal with it.

I agree with jennyboom above. Sounds as if he is trying to get rid of you. I know when I was with my ex and we were fighting, I tried to make it work and did care and showed that I cared.
