Nose rings, anyone have problems?

Anybody have any problems with their piercing?

I had mine done the beginning of March and I am still having some problems with it. It is still sore and sometimes has minor signs of infection.

If it has signs of infection, it's important you see a doctor in case it becomes worse. Thee fact that it still hurts a month after you got it done is an indicator that something isn't right.

meh!, I've had my nose pierced for 6 years, for the 1st couple of months my nose got infcted from wearing make up etc, it will be ok in a few more months trust me >.< I still have my nose pierced now an sum times my nose gets infected just make sure you use somethink 2 clean it when it is infected what I do is get germaline, an put it on my nose ting then put the nose ring back in my nose so the cream gets in 2 my piercing, it will be better in no time! xx

I did my nose myself and I didn't get any serious infections or gross discharge, but it did get iritation, but that's normal...

Thanks guys. I know other girls that I talk to said theirs is fine. I do have a bit of an allergy to the metal they make the rings with. I usually can only wear 14k gold. I did try to find a gold one but, they are all the corkscrew kind and I already had to have that kind cut out with wire cutters and almost ended up in the ER.

It looks great now but, like I said sometimes it still gets irritated and seems to get infected. But, I do use the sea salt solution they told me to use and it gets better.

I just hope it doesn't take too much longer to heal.
