Nose piercing procedure

Im getting my nose pierced in 13 days how exactly will my nose be pierced for a stud? Also do you think I should use the needle or the gun?

needle is way better than the gun if it's on the nose that you'll pierce...

I did mine on my own without any ice or a needle. I just took an earing since I didn't have any studs at the moment and it didn't hurt one bit. I would pick the gun because it shoots straight through and the needle hurts a little bit because it's sharp.

NEVER use a piercing gun for anything other than ear lobe piercings. That is all it is designed to pierce. If you're going to a decent shop they won't even give you the option.

It's basically the same process as any other non-ear lobe piercing; they'll use a small gauge hollow needle (probably a 20g) to pierce your nostril. I've always seen them use a small piece of cork to catch the needle when it goes through. After, they'll insert the jewelry for you.

it is illigal for a piercer to use a gun on cartalige. You can only use them on ear lobes.

When I got mine done this is the procedure..

The guy squirted some stuff up my nose to numb it
then got a hollow tube around 1 cm and put the a little bit up my nose to make sure once the needle was through it didnt go through the other side of my nose
then he got a thin hollow needle and told me to close my eyes
the end of the needle was made from plastic and was hollow also
told me to breath in for 3 and then out
and while I was just about to breat out he pierced it.
He then cut most the plastic end of the hollow needle and incerted the nose stud into the end of the needle and just pulled the needle through and then the nose stuff stayed in place. I had a nose bleed afterwards. Nothing that bad. Didn';t hurt me much either.But I have quite a good pain intolorence if I know I will get something out of it in the end.

Ok. Screw Procedures. Lol. Me My sister, my best friend an my sisters friend all did ours by our self. no numbing or anything. It doesnt hurt til the last layer, an I wudnt get it professionaly done because you know when it hurts. they dont. (: Good Luccck.

never get it done by some inexperienced idiot at a salon or mall who uses the gun
those people aren’t professional piercers’, they have no training
no idea of what can go wrong and were not to pierce
and the gun is full of germs from other peoples blood because they cant sterilize it
also its blunt, which is about as good as shoving a nail through your skin
it will make it take a lot longer to heal
if you want a real piercing you get it done with a surgical steel needle
the process is simple
they clamp your nose, stick a hollow surgical steel needle through
then thread the jewellery through the needle
your eyes will water a bit
and no,m they dont put on of those crap studs that you bend in there because those are NOT proper peirces of piercing jewlerey
also be aware that school with a dress code wont allow them
and most jobs consider facial piercings unattractive and unprofessional
