Nose piercing experiences

I'm getting my nose pierced in about a week and I've already done all my research, watched all the youtube videos, but now I want to hear personal experiences. tell me about your nose piercing, good or bad!!

your eyes will water a bit as you get it done
always get it done profesionally with the needle
pig screw jewelrey is good, and always use surgical steel jewelrey
dont change it untill around 3 months after getting it done
healing time varies, from a few weeks to even up to a year
but 3 months is the average
if your school has a dress code they wont allow pwiercings
and a lot of jobs consider facial peircings unprofessional
so be aware of that too
also get it done for yourself, not anyone else
when you take it out youll be left with a small pimple sized scar
and the more years you have it in for, the less chance the hole has of being able to close up
the only pro peircings have is to sit there and look pretty

my nose was the first piercing I got of course I was nervous as they were
getting ready 2 stick the needle but getting nervous is the fun part
the pain didnt hurt so much its kinda really like a sting and your nose is only
sore for like a week so I thought it was a good expierence

I got my nose pirced befor.. but then got bored of it and took it out

I was a little nurvous but not a lot becouse I've got a lot of piercings.. but it didnt hurt at all its a little shock if you dont like pain and makes your eyes water a little.. well it made mine anyways

but in all honesty I didnt hurt at all, its more like a little pin prick but a little worse... kinda like haven a needle... but it dosent hurt

I almost fainted when I got mine done. haha. I thought it hurt but I kind of have a fatter nose so maybe I have more cartilidge there and that's why my answer is different from other's...it could also be because I'm allergic to certain metals. Mine was sore for about a month afterwards, but I'd have to say it was definately worth it. I feel like my nose peircing is apart of me because when I take it out, I look completely different and it just doesn't feel right when I don't have it in :P
