Well everyone has a different pain tolerance, so you'd have to find out yourself.
But I agree with the above, it didn't hurt much for me, hurt just a little bit more then a regular cartilage piercing... So very minute...
To clean it you do salt water soaks, every 2-3times a day everyday for 5-10minutes (if you do less then 5 its not long enough for it to actually clean, and if you do more then 10 theres too much bacteria in the water), and then you use some unscented anti-bacterial or anti-microbial soap 2-3times a day, once every week.
With the soak you just have to dunk your nose in it, and the soap you use a q-tip...
And it can be fully healed around the 2-3month mark, but it may take longer, it depends on your body...
*** Note:
- NEVER use alcohol, its horrid for piercings.
- Don't touch it unless your hands are CLEAN.
- Don't play with it, that'll cause irritation.
- Only use Hydrogen Peroxide, if you think Keliods (white scar tissue build-up) are forming.
Good Luck! =]
well I just got it pierced yesterday and it hurt really badly for that moment, and it stung after however a lot of different people say it doesnt. so I think its up to your pain tolerent level really. Depends does it hurt to have a needle get pierced into your skin and pushed through to the other side hurt to you? because thats what it is unfortuantly they do not use the piercing gun some places might but thats not made for noses so it can get infected easily so its not like one two three click over its more like push it in until its in completely. I started jerking when he was in the middle of it so my boyfriend had to hold me down and after my nose bled a lot pretty much but some people have different reactions to it. If you really want one and dont mind pain that much or even a lil bit just get it over and done with however right after it is not going to look like a healed one its going to be red with blood around it but it heals and the stinging goes away in like hours. but if your going to get it good luck but remember you have to keep it in for 4 weeks so if you have something coming up like a job interview or school thing that doesnt allow nose rings I suggest waiting til after before you get it pierced. good luck
