What's the normal height for a 13-year-old?

Hi, I am 13 and I am 61 and 135 pounds, the average height for my grade (Grade 9) is like 56 (I live in Australia) and I am just wandering what the normal height for a 13-year-old in the US is...

P.S. Basketball runs in my family so all my relatives...

are tall

don't fret my husband was 6'1 in the 6th grade and he isn't a freak as a matter of fact he never grew after that year he is only 6'2'' at 29 so don't worry people just grow at different rates heck im 5'9 myself so maybe your other half one day will be tall herself

Yeah your question is good. do not worry cause when you play basketball u jump a lot and your height gets upgraded so the only thing you can do is to maintain your height there itselfff.. k? Do not worry bro...

Your height is great. You just have the genes that obviously run through your family. I know about three 12 and 13 year olds whom are taller than you so don't worry. You just stick to basketball, academics, and hopefully get a good scholarship to a great school, and then head off to the NBA. Well if that is what you want to do!!

Chill man. I'm 13 and only 2 inches behind you. People are just naturally tall. The normal height I would say is probably between 5'5 and 5'9, but who cares about normal. Everyone is unique.

People consider me ...Brock Samsun? Im 13 but im 6'3 and the size of my wrist is bigger than most adults legs. Im 280 lbs and I have no fat on me. I started puberty at 11 and grew so much that I seemed to sleep for 11 hours (i went to bed early) I seem to not be growing that much now, but i have a steady pace.

your just taking of of the family...i'm 14 and i'm 6'1...so, its normal...the normal heght for most guys is about 5'3-5'6 or somewhere like that

i'm 13 and i'm like 5'4 there are alot of people shorter and taller than me
last year there was an eight grader well now he is a ninth grader named john and he is 6'8''

i feel extra tiny now you have all said your height , i am in yr 9 (english school ) , 3rd year and i am only 4'11

and i feel like i am not going to grow

ps-my mate was smaller than me but she has grown loads and is my height now and i feel like i am not going to grow

There is no normal all people grow at differnet rate. It depends on your dna. Your dads tall so you'll be tall Don't worry you'll leave off soon

I think that there is not a normal size because some people are small and others are tall and some are in between that. and that beacause of their familys height!!!
