when you read a question and you want to add them they will have a thing under their picture or where it is suppose to be and it says add as friend or send me a fun mail and it is not like myspace. And if you want to send a funmail you have to verify your email address before you can send one

You can click on peoples profiles to add them as a friend. I'll automatically accept if you add me. You can set that up in the settings part of the site.
Leaving comments is pretty much like myspace I think, although I don't use myspace. The rest of the site is quite different though I beleive.
