How can I restore sound on my laptop?

my sigmatel audio was removed by my son an now I have no sound and cant get anything to give me sound please help

sometimes going back to the company's website and redownloading the driver for it helps if that doesnt do anything or you cant figure it out still shoot me a funmail ill try to walk you through it

Today I know, every Laptop or pc you buy it contains one motherboard CD which contain all your driver for your motherboard including the sound driver, go and find it and then insert it.. I know most of the new CD Driver are automatically detects what driver are missing, so that you can re-install your sounds...
