Morality is independent of religion. As Cosmos said, there are many believers who do evil things. Likewise, there are many non-believers who do very good things. I encourage you to learn about everything out there so you can make the best decision.

Nope.
It just means that you aren't sure about it right now and thats okay. I think its important that people don't push a religion on you either. As you get older you may find yourself believing in a religion, or you might not ever believe in a specific one, its all about discovering yourself and who you are. Not believing in one doesn't make you any less worthy then anyone else.

How about reading the bible, to see what it has to say. Pray before you open it, asking God to allow you to see the truth. Start with the book of John, in the New Testament.

After you read it, how about comeing back here to discuss what you have read?

You are going to get a lot of different viewpoints here. I went through a lot of the same feelings when I lost my faith. I thought you needed to be religious to be a good person and when I started to doubt God I felt like I was doing something wrong.

You do need to decide for yourself what you believe. Don't let the scare tactics of Christianity make you believe in God just to be safe. Don't let your own or other people's prejudice make you believe a certain way. Look at all this with an open mind and think about whether what you are being asked to believe in seems reasonable and plausible.

What you do determines whether you are 'good' or 'bad', not what you believe.

No, you're not a bad person for being an atheist.

Theists, especially Christians, say that God loves us and wants us to choose him, but apparently that love is conditional because if we don't choose him they say we will be punished eternally for it. That's like when a dictator holds an election and says you can vote for me, or you can vote for the opposition and your family will be tortured. Your choice.

If there is a supreme deity who truly loves you, and your studies and experiences in this life lead you to being an atheist, that deity would understand and you would not be punished for it.

Doesn't make them bad, it just means they are sinners (as we ALL are) who haven't been redeemed.

No matter what you choose there are always bad people. Some religions claim to take the moral high grown all tho allot are less moral. The western baptist church pickets peoples funerals, Hitler was also a devoted Christian. Muslims attach bombs to them self and kill innocent people. Joseph stallion a atheist killed thousand of people.

Religious people will say these people ain't really religious.

Each group has bad people and good people. I my self am agnostic, I don't know if there is a god, and I don't think if you acknowledge there is a god your going to hell. I think if there is a after life and your a good person you have a ticket.

It's not whether you believe in something or not that makes you a bad person, just what type of person you are. Do you intentionally hurt people or animals? Do you enjoy it when you do? Are you self-centered and do things only for yourself no matter what it means to other people? Do you constantly criticize other or do something to bring someone else down just so you can feel better about yourself? There are a lot more things I can describe but believing or not believing won't change what kind of person you are. I am a christian and I was inspired by Jesus to follow a path similar to what He says. When asked by the rich man what he had to do to achieve eternal life, Jesus said first to follow the commandments, then later said to follow Him. He never publicly said that people had to BELIEVE in Him to go to heaven. A lot of people will use the quote from John saying I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. This doesn't mean necessarily that you have to believe in Him, but look at the first thing He said, I am the WAY, and what is His way? The way of love. Love other people and treat them justly. Period.

Religion has nothing to do with whether a person is bad or good. Your actions judge this. That's it.
