No limited connectivity network

Okay my computer worked fine before I restored it, im always re storing it to the first day I got it, because I always use up all the memorey and it work slow well I did it the other day, and nowi cant get the internet to work, it was connecting and then...

it just disconnected straight away, and now it just trys to connect but doesnt, and it sometimes comes up with this no limited connectivity and I click repair but it seams not to fix it, any ideas? It isnt my wireless box, because I am usin it for my laptop as an internet too. And also its not the adapter because I've tired two working adapters in there what work on other computers in the house

It will be your network settings. Are you using Windows XP or Vista?
