No emo in vegas?

So I was in las vegas over the 4th of july, and I noticed there were no emo/goth people roaming around. I'm not emo...nor do I want to be. -but I know there is a glut of emo/goth people on this site, so I figured I'd pick your brains. I was just...

curious; do you guys not go there because there's so much sun? perhaps because it a place where conformists hang out? maybe there's too many emo-haters there? maybe it was just random chance that I didn't see any of you out there, I don't know. anyways, just wanted to know why you shun vegas. thanks.

Well... first of all:

A lot of the people who claim to be emo on here are posers... A lot 90% of them are. And don't even know what EMO Stands for.

Secondly:
Maybe you just don't look around? we don't hate the sun, we're not vampires. We just don't find casinos, fast cars, and strip clubs fun.

I personally don't shun vegas, never had a urge to go there. But oh well. That's my opinion.

I think you give me a little too much credit. there might be a couple emo people who think I'm intimidating, but to think that simply my personality would keep an entire people out of a town that I don't even live in...well you're just being ridiculous.

to answer spartan's question, the only emo habit that bugs me is when a guy wears those gay tight pants. everything else, I could care less about...but geez, I can't think of a more homosexual thing to do than for a grown man to wear a little girl's pants. hopefully you don't do this...but if you do, rather than get pissed off at me, I'd love to here a reason why emo's think the pants thing is a good idea. thanks guys.

Chip, I wear the pants. But why do you have to make fun of it? I don't bug you about your style so why bug me about mine? I think it's a good idea just to accept peoples style... instead of always judging them and looking at them as a bad person for wearing something...

Gen, I'm actually straight. I have a girlfriend been going out with her for 3 months and 21 days haha. I just don't find gambling fun, it's an ignorant thing... wasting your money.

I said that if you DO wear the pants, rather than get mad, explain yourself. you didn't blow your top, but you didn't explain the pants thing, either. on a side note, I WON money in vegas. it helped to pay for the trip. -I'll bet my entire weekend, bets, delicious buffets, hotel room, gas to and from, watching the ufc fight, blah blah blah, didn't cost me a hundred bucks out of pocket. that's a good way to be. now about those pants...

I thought I'd answer your question with another question. I didn't blow my top at all, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry . Glad you won the money, many people go overboard. and loose it all.

Anyways, to make you happy... I like the style, I don't really like the normal or baggy pants.. just feels weird. I don't have a problem with people dressing the way they want... it's their style. I'm getting off topic I know :P just that other people have different interests... that's all.
