hey me and my corrent girlfriend were friend for almost 10 years before we starting dating. I understand where you are coming form. I would chalk it up to yall working out the awkardnest because of yall being friends so long. id stick in there for a while before making a decision either way but try to make it work out. the best of luck.
Becos you were friends with him for so long, its hard to see him as a boyfriend now thats all. Maybe you were just to good of friends to be together, just give it more time, you are both growing to get used to each other in a different way, and if you still feel like this in a few months then maybe you should consider seperating.

Why did our connection die when we started dating?

Me and my boyfriend were friends for 8 years before we started dating. We've been going out for a month and a half now. But when we were just friends I felt more of a connection than I do now. Why is that? And what should I do? If you can answer that! Like when we were friends I felt closer than I do now that we're dating! I mean I really do love him and he loves me, but I just don't feel like our relationship with each other is as close as it once was!
