Why can't I put wallpaper on my computer?

so a couple of months ago I got 3 virus' on my computer and I got rid of them with out a problem but now cant put a background on it, I can only put up solid colors. whats wrong??? is there any way I can fix it???

make sure your not using any other theme applications.

right click on a image and click set as desktop back ground,

thurther problems may be an issue, so if it bothers you so much, formatt the pc using your windows cd, or repair the system using the cd.

Just completely reset your oporating system wither it is windows xp, or 95 ... just save all your important stuff onto disks then find your oporating system disk and reboot the whole thing.
