Why is my nipple bleeding?

I last night when I was getting into bed I realized that my nipple was a little red. Then I realized that it was bleeding a little but from the inside (like I guess where breast milk comes out later). I am only 14 so I don't know if this is supposed to happen. Thanks

I don't think it's scary but it sounds as though something's not quite right - maybe it's simply that your bra or your t-shirt has been rubbing you, mayby during sports or something. Nipples are pretty sensitive (ask anyone who's nursed a baby)!

I think that when the proper advisors get here they'll suggest that you see a doctor if it continues, and I think that's right, although it's probably nothing serious. First thing is, check if your underwear fits and is properly supportive. If that doesn't solve the problem, ask a doctor.
