Dear sicksalvation,
If you have been studying dreams then you know they can be related to stress, medications, home situations, etc. So to really know why they started and why they stopped would be a real guess. But a change in someone's life would indeed be a reason for changes in dreams. These changes can be puberty, a new girl friend, different schools etc. So again it would be just a guess. I suppose regardless of why for the time being he is free from them. I do believe if they do reoccur then he should go see a counsellor. With some beneficial advice from them with dream management he may find out how to keep them away forever.
Sue...good luck
I bet the girl has some special powers
im not sure if this is true but I think once you realize you are having a drean you can change the path of your dream
so you can pritty much change the course of it compleatly
I was the same way, having nightmares everynight..I only ever talked to one person about it (which was a friend). I'm not sure if it had anything at all to do with it, but when I started sleeping with music on, the nightmares stopped and I havn' t had them since them. I mean, yes, the occasional nightmare, but nothing like before.
I know why that is happining its stopped becus he stopped bleveing in his nightmare

Why would someone's nightmares suddenly stop?
(Please don't ask me personal questions about these nightmares, as it was not me who drempt them, and I wouldn't know how to answer you)
I know someone who used to have nightmares nearly every night. And then, he told me they simply stopped accuring. I'm wondering if it's possible for an excessive amount of nightmares to just... stop? I've heard that telling people about your nightmares can help stop them, but he hasen't told anyone. He's seen no doctors, and basically made no attempt to cease the amount. He lived his life like he did, but with nightmares nearly every night.
And then... suddenly, he tells me they stopped.
Is this actualy possible? I've being studdying dreams and sleeping or a couple months now, and I've never heard of anyting like that happening...
They stopped after he met someone, but he refuces to admit it was her that stopped his nightmares.
Probably because I had a crush on him at the time... he says it was probably a coindecence, but I'm positive it had something to do with he girl.
