Nickelback-rockstar/annoying!

hey so nickelback?
there one of those bands that I dont hate...but dont like either
when hearing one of their songs id usually not be very bothered.
I wouldnt go to turn it off...but I wouldnt enjoy it either
but their song "rockstar" - just bloody annoying
not so much when it first came out - but now?
I cringe just hearing the name
does anyone else really cannot stand that song?
its the pre-teens who have made it worse for me
I mean no-one younger than 12 should be liking that song
they talk about drugs and playboy h*es

I understand about the 12 year olds... But have you listened to any of nickelbacks lyrics to other songs? "Rockstar" is nothing... Listen to "Animals" haha I love that song.

"Rockstar" is a fun loving song ment for all ages, the pre-teens dont fully understand the lyrics but like the beat, and adults understand this and the lyric and they like it for the same reason.

I understand what you are sayin bout 12 yr old, bu ttheir only 12 and their parents should know what they are listenin too its part of the responsibility parents has...as far as the song...I like it, liked it when it first came out and still do, its just a fun song, just a normal person wantin to be a rockstar...if you really want to go the limit, kids shouldn be watchin the news either, the news talks bout sex and stuff too, and I dont mean like the local channels like fox and stuff like showin pics of the girls mother out partyin and at a stripper pole...12 yr olds shouldn see that either...anyways...as far as the song I like it

Not really a nickelback fan myself. Rockstar is a pretty catchy tune but it has been massively overplayed. My 5 year old daughter is obsessed with that song and knows most of the lyrics. Suffice it to say that I've heard this song way too many times though there is something appealing to the way a 5 year old mangles the lyrics.

I hate rockstar by nickelback! I have it on my iPod and my ears BLEED when I hear that song at the store too!
