You Kill Me...

A love so strong
The bond eternal
Lasted so long
Made void and null

It was perfect
What I always dreamed
I had you forever
Or so it seemed

Then an end
Unseen and abrupt
Alright at first
You would interrupt

Two of us...

broken
Things uncovered
Hearts spoken
The bond severed

Already so difficult
Emotions flared
Made it impossible
My heart so scared

I never wanted
Things this way
Not separated
I wanted you to stay

I needed time
You said okay
Needed to find
Why to stay

I found it
But too late
You found it
Why to hate

We could've been
The difference
But instead
The likeness

You and I
Once in love
The pain inside
Love undone

The love I had
Will always be
Though not the same
Inside of me

The pain instead
The need for will
Takes the place
To stop the kill

A desire for love
Once kept me sane
Now only left
The desire for pain

I want to forget
Clear my heart
The love we had
Every single part

I can't keep going
Living like this
Forever knowing
What we had, I miss

I must escape
I need to be free
You hold me down
You kill me...
