New hair?

I have long thick curly hair that is very often frizzy and poofy and I have millions of hair products that dont work on my hair.
The main part that I hate about my hair is how thick it is and I want to cut it shorter. Not too short, but maybe to my...

shoulders.
Would this be a good idea? I know that when it is short it will be more manageable
but what will it do to my hair? will it make it thicker? will it make it curlier?

I use to hate having thick hair...
But now it's getting thinner and thinner!! Dont hate your hair!!

0_0 sorry...I just threw my opinion at you like that...lol. but uhm...theres a way that stylists can thin your hair...without cutting it...or...perhaps...frizz ease will work. its...a product by john freda, and I always buy it at wal*mart. uhm...yyyeah. good luck. hope I was...of some help to you atleast... happy

I dont want to thin it at the hair salon my mom says its a bad idea. I just wanna no what will happen if I cut it that length.
its overly thick is the problem if it were 2 levels less thick it would be rilly pretty but mine is rilly thick (my pics were when my hair was still partially wet)

since you hate your hair as its thick you could ask your hairdresser to thin it a bit. ask the hairdresser if it looks nice shorter, and think as it will take ages to grow back if you dont like it. but if you want it get it cutt happy
