Never shaved and I'm 13

I'm 13 and I have never shaved, waxed or used hair removal cream. My legs are quite hairy and my mom won't let me shave! I've asked her and reminded her soo many times, but she always gets mad at me! She never shaved or did anything to her legs and her leg hair all fell out when she was around 25. I don't want to wait that long though! It's really embarrassing and I don't think I'll be able to go through highschool with hairy legs! How can I convince my mom?

hmmm thts tough I didnt ask lol I got mi own razor and did it before mi granda (like mi mom) found out :] but your mom should let you I mean its you not her and if its really imbarressing 4 you it can b bad for your confidence and your self esteam

Umm, tell your mom that kida in school are making fun of you and that you heard they nicknamed you "the hairy chik" or sth, tell her that just because she never shaved her legs doesn't mean you shouldn't, tell her that you feel out of place everywhere, and that you are not going to go out with your friends anymore because you feel way too uncomfortable, plu, remind her that her "times" her HS etc, was a different time than now. tell her its tembarassing and all your frridns shave and its gross, ask her if you can you nair or soemthing

I started shaving when I was 9 but I shudv started when I was 11 any ways you shudv alredy strted

try explainin how you feel and tat's it's embarrassing,I used to use nair and veve and they're really gud,but now I use a razaar instead of hair removal cream and my opinion is tat a razaar is best,so it's whateva you feel most confortable with and whateva fits yur preference.if she still says no and yur still embarrassed bout it you can try stickin to pants and jeans

just try telling her how you feel I started when I was around 11 but w.e just let her know how bad its making you feel I don't want to get you in trouble but if that doesn't work then like ask a friend for a razor and then sneak it out when your home and then you could shave w.o your mom even knowing about it.haha thats what I would do but first just talk your mom!!!

aww honey! sit her down and talk with her and explain that it's embarrassing to you. sometimes it's very hard for parents to realize their kids are growing up. 13 is DEFINATELY old enough to be shaving your legs and I'll deny it if you ever told her I said this...but if all else fails, just do it LOL she can't really stop you

Tell your mom that it really bothers you to have hairy legs and that you don't want to be like her.
You need to try to convince her that you need to buy a razor and shaving cream or wax. That isn't right! she should be able to let you shave. She must think that having hairy legs is attractive. So, just tell her that you really need to take me shopping for shaving supplies! Because having hair bothers my skin! I'd tell her that if I were you.
You don't need to be like that once you're in High school or having a boyfriend.
