Need someone help, about math

Asked by christiany about 1 year ago, 2 answers.

Montmorency puppies sells puppies. The demand for their puppies is given by the following demand equation: qd = 180 – 6pp + 3pk + 0.007m + 2a, where qd is the quantity of puppies demanded, pp is the price of puppies, pk is the price of kittens, m is...

income, and a is the advertising expenditure of montmorency puppies.

If montmorency puppies charges $35 per puppy, kittens sell for $20, they spend $10 on advertising and income is 15,000

(a)how many puppies are sold?
(b)state the demand equation and the inverse demand equation.
(c)calculate the consumer surplus at the price above.

qd = 180 - 6 pp + 3 pk + 0.007 m + 2 a
# of puppies = 180 - 6(price of puppies) + 3 (price of kittens) + 0.007 (income) + 2 (advertising)

a.) now, plug in all the numbers..., then you would know how many puppies are sold.
b.) it's a function problem, so -(f) = 180 - 6pp +pk + 0.007m + 2a. solve it.
c.)
