I have long brown hair and I want new ideas how to wear it to school. I always wear it down straight or in a ponytail

I have the same kind of hair as you, you can wear it in a low pony. scrunch it, braid it or wear head bands or ribbons in it

try wearing your hair half up with a clip, messy bun, or take a small square section in the front of your head and make a poof and pin it in place.

you can try curlying it.
curls look very pretty down with looong hair [:

also you can crimp it.
