i want comfort her

Hey, im wrighting this the library of my school because its here at school in about... 3 hrs that ill need this advice for.

My friend Amber just broke up with her boyfriend because he cheated on her, and I want comfort her. she is usualy very happy,...

hyper, easy going fun loving person, and I hate to see her down like this. my self being an over loud, always joking type of guy have tried several times without success to cheer her up by a constant flow of jokes and cracking one linners about her boy friend. next I tried some quotes about lost love- but the only thing that came to mind is all is well that ends well and im fairly certin this made things worse.

now I have two periods (aprox. 2.5 hrs) to think of something realy good to say to her to make her cheer up and forget about her cheating coward of a boyfriend. I think im going try for the touchy fealy aproch to things but I dont know how to go about it.

I need help quick, so please... anything at all would be greatly apreciated. this is extreamly important to me because, well I think I might love her.

First off, just be there for her, shes not going to get over her boyfriend that cheated on her anytime soon. It could take awhile for her to be back to her normally happy self. Tell her that shes better than his cheating self anyways. that she deserves better than someone who's gonna let her down, and to only be with her seeing how shes making a commitment to stay faithful to him.

and if you love her, sooner or later you should tell her.
its really your decision on when to tell her.

I agree with what prettyface432 says, just comfort her and be there when she needs you and if she needs a hug give her one but I would wait just a lil bit before telling her you love her but do tell her. good luck!

Tell her sometimes it's best to forget how she feels and to remember what she deserves. Things will get better even if it happens days or weeks from now. Tell her for her sake you hope it's soon. Tell her exactly what you wrote. She's obviously not the same person she used to be. Let her know you miss that person. Tell her the only people she needs in her life, are the ones who need her in theirs. Just be there for her. And tell her when life gives you one-hundred reasons to cry.. Show it you have one-thousand reasons to smile. Good Luck!
