How to push myself to my body's limit?

hey evryone I am wanting to push my body to the limits I am realy beefy about 5'7 260-280lbs but im not the fastest I want to be able to go faster and push my self harder than evryone else any tips

just when your body starts to hurt while working out or training, just don't think about it but think about finishing the set or think of something else but th pain

that usually works for me to push myself by telling myself I can do it

Set goals, and count the amount of something you're doing, and don't stop until you've achieved the goal ammount. Sometimes you can work your muscles til they literally won't work anymore (for a short period of time). Not many people work to this limit, so if you do something like that, you may want to do it in private, because it may be a little embarassing if that were to happen in front of others.

ok man, first of all if your only like 5'7 you need to lose about 100 pounds... some of my buddies who are about your height are like 180lbs of solid muscle and they're pretty bulked up too...hell im just shy of 6'6 and im only 251lbs. anyways on to your question...to push yourself you really need to workout 5 or 6 days a week, just get in the gym or where ever you go and put your mind in a different place. im a pretty big guy but I run under a 6 minute mile, all you have to do is keep in your head that it will be over at some point soon...just be like hey I only have to do this for another 10 minutes then I can get in my car and go do whatever the hell I want and as far as lifting...get some nitric oxide and if you want to be quicker, then do high reps-low weight, go for like 15-20 reps of whatever your doing and do 3 sets each.
