Need help on my laptop ??

okay.. I just got this new lap top.
And I dont know how to get internet on it.
I click the e [internet exolorer]
and it says page can not be found ??

um it depends what kind of internet you use, if it's wireless there should be an icon in the task bar that is for wireless, you should click it and see what wireless connections are available and connect one.

if it's wired then all you have to do is plug the ethernet cable in your laptop.

um yeah, you have to set up your connection... or if you go somewhere like a coffee shop or something that has free wireless internet then you can set your computer up for that too...

But I have the wireless internet thing at my house ???
But I dont work... I dont know what to do ... Im so confused. lmao

If you have a wireless connection just open your My network Places if you are using XP or VISTA, on the left panel click view my network connection then open the wireless network connection.

Then you will see a wireless network connection, select it then connect..

Is your wireless turned on?
If you can't get wireless where you live, you would have to get a landline modum like I did for my laptop since I can't get wireless where I live. So, I'd check your wireless connection. If that isn't the case, I'm not sure then. If you don't want a modum, you could get a wireless rouder.

okay ?? Well it ended up kinda sorta working.. but I didnt do anything except buy a flash drive? lol
But its always saying page can not be displayed.
but then some days it will work.
