How can I get my grades up?

My grades have went down this year and I'm a freshman. I need to know how I can keep a C average.

basically once you reach high school there is a time of adjustment... my grades went down as well... but once you get used to the differences between junior high and high school it'll get a lot easier...
you have to do a lot of studying.
every teacher is different and excepts different things of different students...
you just need to get used to the different teachers...
it's just a time of adjustment.
do your studying. even if you think you know what's going on. make sure to do all your homework. ask questions if you need help.... don't be quiet about it...

im also a freshman and im keeping a c avrage; just NEVER forget to do your home work it doesnt matter if you get it all wrong best to gamble and hand in somthing. and if your stuck on somthing copie your friends home work and modifi it to be your own. last step stay on the teachers good side even if it means being a teachers pet.
(dont forget to do all extra credit assiments)

I have a lot of friends who are in their freshman year of highschool, and they're having the same problems. You have to find a way to balance studying and your social life (one of those things that's a lot harder than it sounds). Still, as long as you remember to hand things in and study for your tests, you should do fine. Good luck!

Ummmm, pay more attention in classes, do your homework, etc., etc., and study. A lot. ^.^
