How to tell my friend's parents that their kid is too young?

Ok here is my problem. My best firends parents want to start letitng their 12 year old daughter to wear in her words "Sexy underear" AkA thongs, g strings etc. Well im agisnt this because I think that she is to young and well its digusting no need for kids that age to wear it. Meanwhile The parents think its ok because all her friends are wearing them and they don't want "Sally" to be the only kid not doing the in thing. What is some good adive that I can give them I know its not my business but I jsut want to try and convice that just because other kids are doing it, doesn't mean that she has to. I mean if thri kids all went out and got drunk and high would it be cool for that to happen?

My opinion - bad parent decision - too young - sexually suggestive - in today's world, possibly even dangerous - but, like you said, their business, you mentioned it (the right thing), now just got to move on - you're right to be concerned, that's a good friend...Take care !!

yeah im a guy and I love women in thongs ...but the key word is WOMEN...not little girls...yes I know everybody(little girls and hell even guys) are wearing thongs and g-strings now but I relate thongs to sexuality and I dont want to relate anything sexual to a 12yr old...but tell her parents that there are guys my age and older who wont care that she is a child and will try and persue her sexually if they happen to see that she is that "type" of girl...I hope for the best for that little girl

A parent reserves the right to give their kids what they feel they need. In many eyes.. a 12 year old in thongs may not be proper, and stepping over the line- But we have to remember that they are the adults and the one raising their daughter.. Any choices they make, good or bad, we have to respect. They are the girls daughter. Any consequences from letting their daughter grow up to fast, will also be their fault, and their dealings.
Its good that you are a concerned friend, but it really is there business. If they think there daughter is old enough to wear those things... well- they are the parents.

Yeah, she's too young...but coming from you they won't like it. It's none of your business how they raise their daughter, even if they are total idiots.

im totaly for young girls wearing sexy lingerie, my daughters love dressing up and I enjoy it immensley, I get nightly shows my zoe at 12 has a wardrobe full of thongs peephole bras and stockings and suspeder belts. little mellissa at 8 just has sexy little g,strings.and sheer babydoll nighties for bedtime.
