Not looking for a realtionship but does he like me?

Okayy.. so I told my guy friend that I like him. He said that he's flattered, but not looking for a relationiship right now, and has sorta taken himself off of the market. Then, I asked him if he liked me, and he replied that he isn't really interested in anyone at the moment, so I told him that I would stop bugging him about it, because he seemed a little weird.. but he said that I wasn't bugging him at all. So, I'm confused. From what he said when I asked him if he liked me, it seems like he tried to avoid the question. I don't know.. I really want to know if he likes me. And the reason he's not looking for a relationship right now, is because he's busy with a play till mid July. I'm so confused, and am looking for answers!!! Please help!!

I think that he simply means that he's not looking to go in to a relationship at the moment?... I dunno?... maybe he's not ready for the commitment! - I'm sure he has his reason... don't bug him about it tho... just be happy that you still have him as a friend.

I think he was just looking for a nice way to say thats hes not interested, without saying something to hurt your feelings. Thats just how it sounds... it might just be that hes not interested in dating right now, who knows.

Hes your friend and he wants to keep it that way. Dont bug him about it. Hes not interested and values your friendship a whole lot more. you could risk losing his friendship if you go on about it. If he wants to date u, then he will express his feelings if he has any. Dont read too much into it. Just let things happen. If its meant to be, it will b all good. If not, then its ok. you cant force emotions or feeling on someone.
