Do you have to get naval piercings upside down?

hah hey I was just wondering if anyone knows about this.
well basically I was thinking about getting my navel pierced but I have an 'outie'
and apperently you have to have it pierced upside down ?
is this true

I dont know about having to have it peirced upside down. It depends what you mean by that. But I do know that having and 'outie' doesnt effect getting your naval peirced.

well people say like you the piercing has to be pierced when the bars turned around
