what are secret or mystery shoppers and does it really work?

You can get hooked up as a mystery shopper by googling it , and signing up with different companies. You need to be an adult and have excellent writing and observation skills. Usually a shop takes 15-30 minutes, you have to remember a lot of details without writing them down, and then about 15-30 minutes (minimum) to write the report. You'll get paid about $10 for each shop. Most companies will reimburse you for what you buy but you need to save the receipt, and they send the money, it's not just automatically free.

You need to do the shop on a certain day, do it exactly as requested, and get the full report in by a certain time or they won't pay. It's worth trying, and fun to do, but make sure the pay is worth an hour, or more of your time.
