I don't have the answer, but you are not alone. I too was trying lastnight to start a new account using a different address, but I kept getting the same message. Myspace just has glitches from time to time, and I think this may be one of those times. Perhaps if you try again in a few days you'll be able to do it.
One thing that I checked for that you may want to consider checking also is this... click search on the browser and type your own e-mail address into the dialogue box. See if someone pops up. Someone may be using your e-mail address already. That was not the case for me though, good luck.
I don't know if it matters what kind of address you use, but mine that works is a yahoo address. The one I couldn't get to work lastnight was a hotmail address. Centurytel.net works as well.

how am I suppos to make a myspace account ?!!
I entered my name, last name, password, e-mail (should it be hotmail or yahoo?), country, postal code, birthday, gender, language,...
and I agreed with the myspace terms of service! and I entered those letters that come after that!
THEN... back to where I started (my information is still there) but my password's not there, with a note written at the top saying,

What does THAT mean?!!! I didn't enter anything wrong about me!!!
