I think this site is better But, I'm biased b/c I didnt' help create myspace, I helped create this one though.

haha I use myspace for friends!! be careful tho...people are startin 2 make fake profiles so its getting kinda annoying!! but yh I like this site btr!!!

MySpace is pretty cool... but it depends on what you're looking for.
If you like being creative and making your own profile/website try Nexopia.com
If you want to meet new people, MySpace is a good one, as is Tagged.com
My personal favorite is Facebook.com... if you can get a bunch of your buddies to join, you are constantly being updated on new events and keeping in contact is easy! It's so much fun, theres something new in your group of friends to check out all the time!
